Spada Decals | 1/32 Croatian Bf 109Gs
Reviewed by Chris Sherland
Spada continues to choose compelling and colorful schemes that are almost never seen, their latest release in the Laser Line Series is a unique sheet covering three late model Bf 109s in Croatian Service.
The sheet is very nice, colorful, and the instructions call out the specifics for the three aircraft. Only single profiles are provided along with a top and bottom view for decal placement.
As usual, Spada Decals provides extra decals where the scheme might be suspect giving the modeler a choice and explaining the research decisions.
The Laser Line from Spada Decals is unique in that there is no separate carrier layer as we are used to with Microscale and the other mainstream providers. These decals must be carefully cut from the carrier, close to the image much like ALPS decals are formatted.
The decals are crisp and beautifully colored from clean and delicate master artwork. 1/32 Bf 109G kits can be found by Hasegawa, Pro Modeler and Revell Monogram.
