Euro Decals | White Backing patches FP 302 Part A & FP 303 Part B

Fantasy Printshop was founded in 1997 specializing in water slide decals in various scales. Not only do they have decals for a variety of airplanes, they also have various specific decals such as, solid sheets, stars, stripes, checkers, maintenance markings, national insignia from countries rarely seen on sheets along with numerous other types of sheets. This will be a real gold mine for a modeler trying to do unique markings.
This review deals with two sets of similar decals. They are very simple but yet a very useful idea. How often have you tried to put a decal on your model only to have the paint scheme show through. These decals are meant to go underneath a decal to help prevent bleed through.
The decals come in squares, rectangles and circles in a variety of sizes. Some will work perfectly under a decal, others could be combined or cut to fit under your markings. The sheet these backing decals come on is huge, in fact it was a little bit too long to fit into my scanner which gives a good idea of its size.
Since a lot of us build other types of models as well, another use I will be able to use these on are race cars which would have their numbers on white circles.
This is a useful item that most people don’t think of until after they put their markings on their model and find bleed through, unfortunately by that time it is too late. At least now there is a solution to help prevent that and other uses for these will be found. Highly recommended.
