CAM Decals | P32-012: Airframe Data Stencils for 1/32 Trumpeter F-100D
Reviewed by Randy Bumgardner
Since Trumpeter released their 1/32 F-100D Super Sabre, the variety of possible schemes is great. CAM Decals has answered that potential with their recently released decals sets for various Air National Guard units who flew the Hun. They have also recently released a set of airframe stencils which can be used with any scheme.
Released as part of their Pro Series of decals, these stencils will dress up the big Hun very nicely. CAM thoughtfully provides some of the stencils in white for camouflaged versions of this aircraft. Another option that CAM provides the modeler is four different versions of the ejection seat warning triangle. Modelers are advised that they should pay attention to the specific airframe they are modeling to get the correct warning triangle in place.
As with previous releases in the CAM Pro Series, the decals are printed by Microscale. They feature great registration and good coloring. These decals are very thin and should enable the modeler to get great results. One word of caution, though. The walkway stripes and the fan warning stripes and very thin and long. Use care when applying them so no tearing or deformation occurs.
Highly Recommended!
A big Thank You! to Ray and CAM Decals for the review samples.
