Another edition in CAM's new Pro Series line of decals is this colorful sheet for the Trumpeter A-7E.
This sheet provides the color markings for a single airframe, BuNo 160737, serving aboard the USS Enterprise during 1982. Stencils are not provided in the set, so the kit markings should be used for anything not included. The overall scheme is gull gray, FS 36440, and the marking provide enough color for a very noticeable A-7.
The decals are printed by Microscale, and their typical quality is evident. They are printed beautifully on a very thin carrier andthe registration is excellent. The colors look spot on and the artwork is excellent.
The instruction sheet is two pages of profiles showing both sides and the top. Given the straightforward scheme of the aircraft, the painting guide is simple and effective.
The sheet is designed to be used on the 1/32 Trumpeter A-7E kit and is recommended.
