This particular volume (29th edition), is dedicated to British aircraft wrecks, relics and displays. While I'm not any sort of fan of British aviation, this book nonetheless has some interesting data and photos illustrating many different subjects produced by various British aircraft manufacturers over the years.

Crécy, having published tons of books over the years, seems to have really pulled out all the stops here, covering dozens and dozens of examples, especially in the text, of plenty of various British aviation subjects. There are quite a number of photos, with those being a mix of B&W and color shots. Text is rife with information of many, many types, a virtual "where's what" of displays scattered throughout the country. Paper quality is also very nice.

For those with a passion for British aviation, I can highly recommend this volume. Buy a copy, you will be happy you did.

Summation

On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d rate this book as a solid 10, no question about it. Topping out at a respectable 349 pages, it's a very nice overall look at a singular aspect of worldwide aviation history.

My review copy compliments of Casemate Publishers. Thanks a ton to Casemate, it's a mighty cool book to add to the old aviation library.
