Barracuda Studios | BR24450: 1/24 Spitfire Mk I-IX Covered Main Wheels

Barracuda Studios continues to expand its BarracudaCast range of resin upgrade and detail sets with a new set of replacement wheels for 1/24 scale early Spitfire kits. This set represents a pair of wheels with covered hubs, rather the more usual uncovered variety.
The hub covers are very nicely detailed, while the rear side of the hubs feature subtle bolt details, and the tyres themselves have fully-legible manufacture details moulded in.
This set is so simple that instructions are not necessary, and therefore, none is included.
Conclusion
This set is a no-brainer for someone looking to build an early Spitfire in 1/24 scale using either the Trumpeter or Airfix kits, especially if you're looking to depict the less common covered hub configuration.
