U.M.I. Resin | Nakajima Ki-84 'Frank' Pilot's Seat

This UMI resin item is a direct replacement to the pilot's seat in the new Hasegawa Ki-84 kit in 1/32 scale. The kit's part is greatly simplified, and devoid of the lightening holes found in the real thing. The UMI set provides the corrected seat and its mounting bar.

I found a number of very small bubbles that won't be visible after priming/painting. There is some waffle-type flash, and so easily removable.

My only complain is that the back of the seat is flat, and it should present some curvature. Being a brittle material, the resin seat cannot be corrected. Even so, it is a great improvement over the kit's part. Anyway, it is a great improvement over the kit's part (see picture below)
