Eduard Brassin | 632069 Fw190F-8 Propeller (for Revell kit)
Reviewed by Iain Ogilvie
This is a replacement propeller, hub and spinner replacement for Revell's recent Fw 190F-8 kit.
Above images are Eduard CAD renderings.
Resin Parts
Beautifully cast to Eduards usually high standard in grey resin, the set features separate blades, propeller hub, spinner and engine fan. An additional resin jig is provided to simplify blade fitment and ensire correct algnment. Detailing is superbly done and the hub component, in particular, is exquisite!
Photo Etched Part
An alignment tool is provided in photo-etch brass to enable the modeller to mark out the correct position to drill a hole in the resin hub for the engine output shaft.
Instructions
These are clear and concise, with detailed drawings not only highlight where each item is fitted, but also clear colour call-outs.
Conclusion
I'm really becoming very impressed with the quality of Eduard's Brassin range. Top notch masters (which look like they've been designed using CAD software), perfect casting, nice etch, comprehensive decals and great instructions. Another great addition to any Revell Fw 190F-8 build.
