Notes | Three Wings relates to Cliff Emeny's operations as a Defiant gunner with subsequent conversion to pilot and Mosquito operations in Burma. He was shot down late 1944 (by a Ki43 I think after losing one engine to flack) and spent the rest of the war as a POW in Rangoon with his navigator. His shoot down is recorded in Bloody Shambles Vol 3 but the extra detail in Cliff's book is interesting. Not much use for modeling info as the pics, such as there are, are poorly reproduced.
