Tamiya 1/32 F-4E Built as the Israeli Kurnass

By Alan Purusram

This is the Tamiya F-4E built as an Israeli Kurnass from Squadron 201 at the height of the October War of 1973.

It was built mostly out of the box except for an Eduard etch set and the armament which came from the Trumpeter F-105 kit and Videoaviation from Italy.

The loadout was pretty unique and was detailed in the book Ghosts of Atonement, a 'Ram' mission against Damascus Airport.

The paints were all MRP, with the underside colour mixed from Xtracrylix.

Decals were a mixture of Academy, Sky's Decals and Isradecal.
