ICM 1/32 Hs 123A

By Jean-Marc Viaud

Here is the result of my latest adventure building this very nice kit that just came out.

It is a very well-designed kit. I had read on LSP that the engine covers are problematic, but by following the instructions and paying attention to the gluing, there were no major issues.

I swapped the engine for a FPW resin model for fun and stole some modified seatbelts from another kit. I also added wires, rods, and other fabricated bits to make things look sleeker. I drilled out the holes for machine guns. I can only assume that ICM moulded it as they did because of cost and/or complexity.

Riveting was necessary on this almost all-metal biplane.

The colors are Vallejo RLM 61, 62, 63, 65, and 02.

The national markings are painted with masks.
