Revell 1/32 P-51D

By Daniel Iscold

One less box at the stash! This is the new tool kit from Revell. One of the weak points of this model is the distortion of the clear parts when compared with the Tamiya P-51, but I can live with this difference. I have heard some had problems with assembly. But for me, every part fit very well. For the natural metal finish, I used automotive paints, a national brand called DRYCO COLORS. In this case the selected color was extra thin Aluminum. I used Life Like decals, printed by Cartograf. The sheet brings a couple of checkered panels for both Tamiya and Revell. I made a mistake and placed some of them in the wrong position (Top engine cover). I had no option, I had to use those designed for the Tamiya P-51 to complete a small amount of black and white squares. In the end I´m quite satisfied with the results! Hope you like it fellas!
