Tamiya 1/32nd P-51D Mustang

This is one of those kits you just have to love building as it's such a joy without any issues and the engineering makes everything easy.

Just take the ability to screw the undercarriage in and the cover to fit perfectly (with magnets) - brilliant work by Tamiya.

Special mention to Red Fox Studio as their instrument panel tops the kit off giving extra detail inside the cockpit.

The paint work was first primed in black and micro-meshed down and then certain areas glossed and others matted. The paint I used was Tamiya's LP11.

'Diablo' decals were Kits-World and were nice and thin, all the other insignia were from my own DM-Scale Model P-51D Mask set.
