Halberd Models 1/32nd XP-85 Goblin

By Philippe Le Marhollec

Here is my latest build that won't take a lot of space on the shelves.

It was not that tricky separating the canopy. I drilled holes around the separation line, used a new blade and some files to finish the job. The remaining part was more flexible, which helped to better adjust it to the fuselage.

I tried to create a smooth surface for the aluminum paint, so I used Mr. Hobby Surfacer 1500. I then tried to airbrush Mr. Color Super Metallic Super fine silver 2. I was not satisfied with the result, so I airbrushed Mr. Color GX112 varnish to smooth the surface a little more. And then again Mr. Color Super Metallic Super fine silver 2.

After decaling and some panel line wash, I slightly airbrushed a flat varnish to have a satin finish.

Enjoy!
