Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire VIII
By Karel Mazanec

Here is my Spitfire Mk.VIII, flown by Lt. Bill Skinner of the 308th FS, 31st FG, 15th AF, USAA in Italy 1945.

I used various aftermarket items in building of the cockpit, including products from the following:
- Barracuda
- Aires
- Quickboost
- HGW
- Scratchbuilt items
- Door: Quickboost

I also used wheels from Barracuda, and machine gun barrels by Master.

For the finish, I used paints by MRP. Colors were 107 (Light Earth), 108 (Dark Earth), 119 (Azur Blue), and 121 (Middle Stone). I lightened and darkened them to represent fading and aesthetic variation. For markings, I used masks by Maketar and AML.

Thank you for looking!
