21st Century 1/32 F4U Corsair
By Artur Kapusta
Here is my what-if F4U Corsair, of the 1st Polish Naval Squadron, Portsmouth 1947.
A while ago I was searching for any Polish pilots that were flying unordinary airplanes. It's hard to find anything more than Mustangs, Spitfires, Hurricanes etc. While thoughtlessly clicking from one photo to another I came upon the War Thunder forum. I scrolled pointlessly when suddenly I spotted this amazing what-if skin for the Corsair made by someone called ‘SABRO’.
There was nothing more to search for. I pulled out my 1/32 Corsair from 21st Century Toys along with a Yahu IP, Eduard seatbelts, and bought some Typhoon gun barrels.
I decided to give my Corsair a four bladed prop and drop tanks. All chipped areas were done using watercolour pencils.
The model was painted using the Mr. Color range. AMMO fluids and pigments were used for weathering.
I hope you'll like it!
