Trumpeter 1/32 Devastator

Here is my rendition of the long awaited Trumpeter Devastator.

For aftermarket, I used Airscale’s Cockpit and Propeller sets. The cockpit is terrific but the open canopy proved too fiddly. Using the Airscale cockpit coming means the canopy has to bind to metal, so I used PVA. The aiming doors fit best if you remove the hinges then fill the spaces with scrap square plastic rod or sprue.

Paint is Alclad dull and white aluminium with a VMS Matt varnish.
