Airfix 1/24 Spitfire IX

Just finished this Spitfire to replicate RR232 currently based at Goodwood.

This kit is Airfix’s finest kit to date with great fit, nice detail and the stressed skin effect is exceptionally well rendered.

I did the camo freehand with my Iwata, it took a steady hand! I used MRP colours; they are now my go to paint, they are great!

The markings are all painted using masks by a friend of mine. I would definitely recommend masks in this scale.
