Hasegawa 1/32 P-40N

This is the Hasegawa Warhawk with the markings of 'Geronimo' of the 45th FS on Nanumea Airfield, Ellice Islands, Dec 1943.

As can be seen in reference pictures, this P-40N has early style large wheels instead of the 27 inch typical “N” wheels.

In the cockpit I have used an Eduard instrument panel and seat belts.

Exhausts were replaced with an Eduard Brassin set.

For painting I have used Gunze Sangyo and Tamiya acrylics. Sand color is a mix of Tamiya XF15, XF57, White and few drops of red color.
