Hasegawa 1/32 Ki-84 Frank

Here are a few photos of my Ki-84 I completed a couple of months ago.

It makes a nice addition to my WW II Jap Fighters Collection. I had built years ago the only existing 1/32 Hayate at that time, which was the Doyusha model, itself a re-boxing in the nineties of the initial one released by Tomy in 1973. Here is a photo of this Doyusha Ki-84, below.

A huge gap exists between the two models in many respects and building the Hasegawa version was pretty much a simple "shake the box" thing...

However, I decided to use decals the from the Doyusha boxing that I had kept since, even though they were sort of delicate to apply due to their grand age...
