Amodel 1/32 Nieuport-Macchi Ni.11 “Bebè”

Nieuport-Macchi Ni.11 “Bebè” (little baby)., in the colours of 80th flight of Italian Royal Army’s Air Service (an independent air force did not yet exist...) in 1917-1918.

This plane was flown by Sgt. Alvaro Leonardi, 8 kills in WWI, awarded with 3 Silver Medals. The comic “Fortunello” painted on fuselage sides was a typical insignia of pilots of the 80th flight, although in different variations according to the pilot.

Kit Amodel 1/32nd scale, painted as usuale with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics.
