Kitty Hawk 1/32 Vought OS2U-3 Kingfisher, A48-2 107 Sqn RAAF 1944

This is my completed Kitty Hawk Model Kingfisher.

Modifications and enhancements:

• Engine wired
• Ignition ring scratchbuilt due to the kit part being destroyed when removing it from the sprue (a common problem)
• Center of the front windscreen removed and replaced with some clear plastic to fill in the gunsight hole
• Ring and bead sight added
• Scratchbuilt sway braces for the bomb racks (RAAF mod)
• Water rudder linkage scratchbuilt (RAAF mod)
• Extra strake added to float (RAAF mod)
• Scratchbuilt Pitot tube

Paint and finish:

• Fabric areas painted with Tamiya AS-12
• NMF applied with Alcad and AK interactive combination
• Ronin Decals
