Revell 1/32 F/A-18A Hornet NSAWC
By Jarda Hajecek
This was built about 9 years back as a hoping to be relax, throw together model for my desk at work. I got the model for close to nothing, some generous soul donated me the Academy Hornet nozzles and cockpit so to work I went.
The model was completely rescribed and modified the best I could to match a production A model. (The original Revell kit was a raised panel lines model of a Hornet prototype with distinctive dogtooth on both wings and elevators, the LERX had to be reworked and some other details added).
In the end it was a fun build the kit is basic, landing gear wells bare but it did serve the purpose. The tarp is a covering for a horribly fitting canopy...
- Model: 1/32 Revell (circa 1982)
- Paints: Agama, Gunze
- Decals: Two Bobs
