Hasegawa 1/32 Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8

By Tolga Ulgur

This is 1/32 Hasegawa Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 finished with the markings of Commander of II/SG2 Maj Karl Kennel in May 1945.

Cockpit components painted to RLM66 and modified by MDC Luftwaffe instrument dials decals and Eduard PE seat belts.

Other modifications are:

My painting reference is Kagero's Monograph Focke-Wulf Fw-190 vol.I book.

Painting was done with Gunze acrylics.

Lower surfaces painted to RLM76, upper surfaces to RLM81 (with few drops of brown paint) and RLM82. Mottling on the fuselage done with free hand airbrushing.

I have used Montex masks on the fuselage, under wing crosses and swastikas on the tail. Upper wing crosses and fuselage codes are decals.

This Wurger finished after some weathering and Gunze matt coat.
