Revell 1/32 Bf 109G-10
By Terry Scott
This was a speed build for SMW 2015 and to get my mojo back which had disappeared a while back but has since returned.
I used the following:
- Barracuda decals, exhaust, spinner, prop blades
- Eduard cockpit detail set
- Mr Color acrylic paint
The kit itself is very nice to build with the surface detail nicely done and the fit is very throughout. The clear parts deserve a mention here as the windshield and canopy really are well made, being very clear and crisply moulded. My only criticism is the way the u/c legs are assemble being over complicated meaning a fair bit of rubbing down is needed to clean everything up. Is this kit worth £22, of course it is and I quite fancy having having a go at G version of this aircraft.
