Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk. IXc RHAF
By Christos Papadopoulos
With the kit of Tamiya I try to represent one aircraft that was acted during the dark period of civil war, with s/n EN 143 from 335 Sqn. The kit of Tamiya is just amazing. They were scratch builds in the following points: marking, gun bay, machine guns, engine, cockpit, safe boarding and head rest.
The camouflage had been painted with the excellent colors of Lifecolor with the following codes: Dark Green UA 091, Ocean Grey UA 093, Medioum Sea Grey UA 094. The inside had been painted with the H-319 interior green of Gunze and the spinner with LC 01 White of Lifecolor, the light blue had been mixed with No 89 and No 109 of Humbrol. In the end the aircraft had been sprayed with the acrylic mat varnish of Winsor-Newton from the series Galleria.
