Trumpeter 1/32 Messerchmitt Bf 109F-4 "Trop"

Here are a few pictures of my recently completed Bf 109F-4 in 1/32 scale from Trumpeter.

I am not a "109 specialist" but according to a few reviews, this model looks more like a G-2 than an F-4.

So I had to do some homework to get out of it a real F-4 type: making the undercarriage wells circular, re-scribing the caps of the fuel tanks at their right positions (and removing those wrongly represented), erasing the small air intakes at the front of the cowling...

Then, a few cables with a bit of weathering and that was it...

I guess that in the end, it should look like to what it stands for, e.g. a Bf 109F-4 wearing its "JG 27 Afrika Korps" markings.
