Trumpeter 1/32 P-51B

A few pictures of my just finished 1/32 scale Trumpeter P-51B.

Not the perfect model, far from it, but definitively an improvement from the old Revell kit - even though Trumpeter has completely missed the rendering of their P-51 wing that should have a laminar profile and not the traditional one it shows...

As a way to celebrate from my part the D-Day 70th anniversary, I chose to paint my Mustang with some anonymous 352 FG markings wearing the Invasion stripes - in an attempt to pay tribute to all those anonymous pilots who came a long way to fight against tyranny...

We will not forget them...
