Romanian Captured MiG-3
By Florin Silaghi
Another project ended well. This time I chose to do a plane captured by Royal Romanian Air Force during WWII. In the history of Romanian aviation, this aircraft is titled as "MIG's Bâzu" because it was flown during testing, the most famous Romanian military pilot of the moment, Prince Constantine "Bâzu" Cantacuzino, who by the end of the war became the pilot with the most victories in the Royal Romanian Air Force.
In construction I used the following:
- Montex Super Mask with conversion set for early variant
- Aires MiG-3 cockpit
- Eduard set for MiG-3
