Fisher Models 1/32 Sea Fury
By John Bardwell
This is a really nice kit and I enjoyed the build. No problems at all. I decide that, instead of the usual color schemes seen on this a/c, I'd do it a bit differently. This is a Sea Fury that was owned by the late Ormand Hayden-Baillie. I saw this bird at an airshow in Alton, IL in the early '70s and have always thought it really looked good. So, here we are. A Sea Fury with a one-of-a-kind color scheme. Paints are Xtracolor, White Ensign, Model Master and some that I mixed. Decals are all from my decal stash and are from several kits and some after-market sheets. I decided to shoot some photos before I put the wings in place so you could get a nice view of the fuselage, etc. This baby was build straight out of the box with no after market sets needed at all. I hope you like it as much as I do!
