Trumpeter 1/24 RAF Hurricane Mk llc
By Tom Crayne
This is a large 1/24 Trumpeter RAF Hurricane Mk llc built right out of the box. I chose to build this kit in the markings of No. 213 Squadron Aircraft that was in North Africa during 1942. Once again, the kit is built right out of the box with the exception of photo-etch seat belts. I think trumpeter did a fabulous job with this kit because I hardly had any problem with the fits. It needed very little filler. As usual, I chose my trusty Tamiya paints to get the job done for this baby. Since this was a camo scheme I used Badger 150 double action airbrush do lay down the camo pattern. The kit decal when down without any problem. After the decal were sealed I gave it a light power wash for wreathing effect. In the end, I'm very happy how it turned out and I want to thank Mike Bhangu again for taking the photographs. Enjoy!
