Props Continued

Part 1

Continuing with Props category, 1/32 and larger, here's the big Trumpeter Avenger. An impressive model, indeed:

Our friend from LSP forum Carlos Palma (Guto) brought two Hasegawa Bf 109s. The first was this one, wonderfully finished (he painted on most of the markings!!!):

Guto achieved a very realistic exhaust staining, and an aerial antennae which could be unhooked from the fin for transporting the model - clever idea:

Here's Guto holding this 109, but my picture doesn't do any justice to the wonderful pre/post-shading:

The other 109 by Guto was this K-4. He grabbed a silver medal with it. Congratulations Guto...

Another member of our forum always present is Sandro Moretti (aka Smotti). Sandro seems to have a serious fondness for the Fw 190, and brought another one this year, very well done, as usual:

Sandro went home with a bronze medal under his belt... Congratulations Sandro!

This one is the Revell Bf 109:

I had the opportunity to see the Hasegawa P-47D for my first time during the convention. The modeler used and interesting technique to paint the deep blue (black?) without obliterating the panel lines previously painted in Aluminum:

Conclusion

The trip actually started on Friday, with a hobby shop tour, and the mandatory visit to HOriginal hobby shop and Marcelo Guerra workroom. From left to right: yours truly, Victor, Jarbas, Marcelo and Flávio with the CEO of Asas aviation magazine, Claudio Lucchesi, far right (photo by H. Rosa):

Aha! LSP reunion during the show. From left to right: yours truly, Sandro, Guto and Daniel. Sorry about that flash. I inadvertently turned my light sabre on:

Nice show. Fewer models than in the other years, but as fun as.
