Hasegawa 1/32 North American P-51D Mustang

This is Hasegawa's venerable 1/32 scale Mustang. I started building it right before Trumpeter released their new 1/32 scale Mustang. Cockpit, seat and radio are scratch built. Belts are Tamiya tape with Verlinden buckles. Wheel wells and landing gear were modified extensively. Rear wheel was scratchbuilt. Wheels were from True Details. Decals were from the box. There was a horrible reaction of the national insignia to SuperSol that required a soaking from Microset to try to correct. You can still see some of the wrinkling.
