Revell 1/32 Tornado

Admittedly, I only bought this kit because it was cheap… and because it was BIG! Being only 20 at the time, I paid for it on credit. It was my first 1/32-scale plane. The darn thing took me a year to build and half a tube of putty! Needless to say, Revell needed to seriously address some issues with this kit, which they now have. My first experience with spray paint adorns this Luftwaffe Tornado (Even though they were car paints- out of cans) Also, masking was a novelty (Cereal packets and newspaper) The colour (Color) scheme came off the side of the box, which had probably faded and/or been printed wrong. And then came the transfers. NEVER in my LIFE had I seen so many water slide Decals!!! 16 years down the track I find myself doing things a little different. Still, it was fun. She’s been to a few shows and I still can’t bear to part with her.
