Trumpeter 1/24 P-51D

Model is Trumpeter 1/24th, externally mostly from the box. I have not removed the aerial yet except in the last photo (in Photoshop) but it shouldn't be there, I have discovered! I gave it a gentle pull as you can see! Alclad 11 paint (chrome) on black gloss and then polished in various ways to show the black through. This involved using even some very thinly applied (almost dry) plastic polish virtually just touched on to the surface. Otherwise I used different cloths to vary the tone. One or two panels were sprayed with polished aluminium.
