Hasegawa 1/32 Me 262A-2a
By Thomas Blumenthal
Here's one of my first models in 1:32 scale. The model was engraved in its bigger part, the cockpit and landing gear region was refined and detailed through scratchbuilding. New electric lines, brake and hydraulic lines were but in the main gear wells. Flaps were put down in the take off position and the vertical stabilator was cut away and reworked.
Colors are from Eagel Strike Me262 Sturmbirds and shows an aircraft of 5./kG51 in Germany 1945. Revell and Gunze Sangyo colors was used. Informations/references were derived from Me162-Das Vielzweckflugzeug Band 2 Waffenarsenal and some others books as AERO-DETAIL, WARVIRTECH Volume 6, Me 262 STURMvogel and similar sources.
