Hasegawa 1/32 F-86F
By Darren Melia
This kit is not the latest injection moulded kit in the world, but this example stands up very well for its age, something like 25 years old.
This kit was built using a few after market products, the Eduard internal and external details sets, the cutting edge resin drop tanks, a Must in this case, as the kit ones remind me of "bananas". Also the Eagle strike decal sheet. Simply because the original kit ones were so old that they disintegrated when the came into contact with the water.
All in all this kit builds up into a decent looking sabre, even though there is lots of filling required.
You may also note the Scratch built starter cart, and the sand bags, a mixture of Italeri, Tamiya and when funds ran out, Milliput copies, even though the revetment is not exact it does look the part. In my opinion!
