Zoukei-Mura 1/32 Ta 152H-1
By Jeff Herrick
The kit has a lot of hidden detail that will never be seen again. It goes together a lot like the real aircraft. I kinda went a little overboard on the weathering especially given this plane wasn't in service for a long time before being captured. But it was fun playing with the mud.
I had heard the kit was great albeit over-detailed but the only complaint I saw was a multitude of ejector pin marks in visible places. The kit I received from a guy in Japan had all of the ejector pin marks removed...you could see fine scrape/sanding marks when holding a part up to an angled light source so they were there from Z-M. I didn't quite know what to think about that. I hate removing them so I was happy...but I almost felt I had bought a started kit.
