Trumpeter 1/32 F4F-4 Joe Foss

This model is an Trumpeter F4F-4, the one that Joe Foss flew in Guadalcanal, tried some new weathering techniques on this one, the model had bad fit and other issues, but it was nothing I couldn't handle, scratch built some details on the engine using lead wire for the ignition cables.

The paint on this one is a homebrew of several Tamiya colors, wanted that sun bleached effect even the insignias I went for lighter color to match the overall weathering.

All the insignias are painted using airbrush and masking tape, the numbers are all decals.

Maybe its not 100% right, but it's my interpretation of Joe Foss F4F-4 Guadalcanal October 1942.
