Revell P-40K In-Progress
By Brian Cauchi
Here are some pics of the work carried out to date. Bear in mind that the model I am using was already built and very roughly taken apart by whoever built it so that the lower wings have been literally torn off from the centre section, but we'll get over that. The seat was made using Rato's technique and I love the result and so were the rudder pedals. The undercarriage is made from copper and aluminium tubing. I always use this technique. You will have a detailed, solid undercarriage which will take the weight of the model. The kit engine was heavily modified.
