Aviaeology | AOD24C08: 1/24 Typhoon Mk.1b Early (May 1942-January 1945) National Markings

Reviewed by Ron Patterson

The description of this decal set pretty much sums it up. This package contains one complete set of national markings for the upper wing surfaces, lower wing surfaces, fuselage and tail fin as used on Typhoon Mk.1B aircraft in RAF service from May 1942 through January 1945. Includes enough to complete one 1/24 scale model with basic application instructions. The 2 sizes of blue/red upper wing roundels provided for in this set are based on new interpretation of photographic record. Notes on usage determination are also provided.

The instructions are a single two sided sheet which outlines every decals location and whether they are typical for all airframes or alternates. Typical to ordering from Aviaeology is an email confirmation of your order accompanied with a full color instruction set in PDF format.

The decals come as one sheet packaged with a very stout sheet of cardboard to insure there will not be any bending damage during shipping. The decals are flawless in execution, crisp, the text is clear and legible and are in prefect register.

Decals available directly from the Aviaeology eBay Store. These sets have very limited availability, if you are interested do act now. Special note: this set is also available in 1/32.

Highly recommended.

Review sample and images compliments of Aviaeology.
