RB Productions | RB-M32003 1/32 I.A.R.80/81 Canopy Masks

Reviewed by Iain Ogilvie

Hot off the press for the superb new 1:32 I.A.R. 81C kit by FRROM, we've received an example of a new set of canopy masks from RB Productions. Those that have already treated themselves to the FFROM kit will know of Radu Brinzan's involvement in the project - so it's not surprising to see a range of accessories being released by Radu's RB Productions brand for this kit.

1/32 I.A.R.80 Canopy Mask

The mask material is light grey in colour - and semi transparent - which should be a great aid in positioning, as well as ensuring no air bubbles/pockets aliong the edges. The material is flexible and conforms well to complex curves. 1/32 I.A.R.81 Canopy Mask

Conclusion

Made from masking material specially-designed for use with airbrushes. Testing an off-cut confirmed that the material is repositionable and flexible and will conform to complex curves with ease. The material is grey and semi-transparent, which (unlike paper-based opaque masks) allows the user to see whether there are any air bubbles along the edges.

Recommended!

This new mask set is available directly from RB Productions at €5.00 plus postage.
