Anyone with inspirations of building their 1/32 Tamiya P-51 kit as a “K” model or any other version requiring the cuff-less Aeroproducts Propeller will be happy to see this new release from Grey Matter Figures. This is a direct replacement propeller and spinner patterned by Jerry Rutman.
The replacement propeller comes with four separate blades, the spinner with correct prop openings, spinner back plate and propeller boss. All items are crisply molded in grey resin. There are some fine casting nubs on all items which are easily trimmed off using a sharp X-Acto blade. A test fit shows the spinner back plate is exactly the same diameter as the original kit part resulting in a perfect fit to the forward cowl.
