Trumpeter 1/32nd Mustang III of the Royal Australian Air Force

By Michael Woodgate

I would like to introduce my Trumpeter 1/32nd Mustang III of the Royal Australian Air force.

This particular Mustang was operated by 3 Squadron RAAF at Fano, Italy in January 1945.

The Mustangs replaced 3 Squadron's much loved P-40 Kittyhawks in November 1944 and were used mainly in ground attack and close-support missions in Italy and Yugoslavia until the end of the war in Europe.

The Mustang was built out of the box, except for some added canopy details and unshrouded exhausts by Red Roo, and I modified the kit decals to more accurately depict this aircraft.
