Trumpeter 1/32 Fairey Swordfish Mk I

This kit is a bit of a sleeper from Trumpeter, you do not see to many of them built but I believe this is one of Trumpeters best offerings in 1/32 scale. It is certainly on par with their Dauntless and Avenger releases. Don't let the pictures fool you either, this kit is LARGE!
It is a straight forward build posing no real surprises. I am not sure I would use the supplied stainless steel rigging again. I found a few pieces were a tad bit long for their intended location and difficult to shorten. I think next time I will source some aftermarket airfoil flying wires that can be cut to the proper length. I chose a pre-war HMS Eagle scheme from XtraDecal. I like the look of this plane in the doped silver and grey.
