A Pair of Hasegawa 1/32 scale Bf 109G-6s

By John Doerr

Here are my Hasegawa 1/32 scale Bf 109G-6s. The oddest thing is I am not a fan of 109s. I do love painting the various camouflage schemes. The kits are essentially OOB with PE belts added.

The first is a G-6 flown by Hauptmann Anton "Toni" Hackl of III/JG/I in early 1944. It is in standard RLM 74/75/76 colors

The second is in the markings of JG 302 in 1945. This appealed to me because of the colors used, RLM81/82 upper surfaces with RLM 84v3 undersides. The color combination reminds me of the RAF day colors during the battle of Britain.
