Trumpeter 1/32 EF-2000 Eurofighter

By Tom Crayne

From the first day I saw a photograph of the Black tail Eurofighter I knew I wanted to model one. And, after finding out the Xtradecal X32056 Eurofighter FGR 4 Special Scheme decals covered the very jet then it was only a matter of time. I quickly purchased all after market items I wanted to add and started this project. Everyone knows about how Trumpeter kits are, they have issues in one form or another and this was no exception. However, I was bit surprise as it was a straight forward build for the most part. Yes, little elbow grease here and there but the only major issue I encountered (for me at least) was the intake assembly. It took me few nights to figure out what was the best approach and I still have tough time, but thank God for Tamiya putty. Anyone planning to build this kit better do a lot of dry fitting in this area. Other then that it was fairly easy build and painted with Tamiya paints. The end result is impressive looking jet.
