HpH Models 1/32 Focke-Wulf Ta 154

By Chris Parsons

Here is my recently finished 1/32 HpH Models resin kit Ta 154, a very nice model if a little expensive. I managed to ruin the decals in my kit (they mostly just fell off the surface of the model), so I placed spurious markings on my model just to have some markings on it. A friend is working on making a new set of markings for the model which I hope to replace the ones on the model with.

The kit is supplied with a huge chunk of lead weight to place in the nose which seemed to be adequate to keep it on all three until finishing up work and installing the rudder and elevators caused it to tip onto its tail, I remedied this by shortening the nose gear oleo and adding weight inside the prop spinners and exhaust flame shields. For anyone else building the model, if you add about 1/4Oz. inside each engine nacelle and you should be fine. The model is finished with Modelmaster Acyl and Tamiya acrylic paints.
