Academy 1/32 F-18A "Fighting Omars"

Here is my Academy F-18A, built out-of-box; I only added a resin seat. I back-dated the Academy kit by removing some antennas on top of the vertical fins. I think there are other little things that make the difference, but...too bad if I missed them. This kit is really worth it, details are there, and are enough good for me: wheel bays are "busy", full of wires, pipes etc, the cockpit has a simple arrangement as on the real, the main landing gears are complex, and full of details (connecting rods etc), only wires and cables must be added. Of course, one can go further onto "sharp" details, and resin parts are your friends. Only a nice paint job is enough to get something fine (I hope I managed with this part). Decals are from Two Bobs.
