Hasegawa 1/32 Spitfire Vb Trop

By Olivier Barles

A few pictures of my Hasegawa 1/32nd scale Spitfire Vb Trop...
A pleasant model to assemble with an interesting painting.

It represents the markings of a Spit from the Free French Forces on the North African front in early 43.

Those machines provided to the FFF Squadron were usually not "brand new".

Main work has consisted in rendering a very operational aspect for an airplane subject to extreme weather conditions combining abrasive dust, night freezing and day heat...

Point is that whatever markings and aspect are, a Spitfire always remain one of the most beatiful object that ever flew in the skies!
Hope you would agree with me!
